THANK THE GOOD JEHOVAH, GOD!, the two investigative teams in respect of the political May-hem in Bo City on Friday, 9, September, 2011, have both presented/submitted their reports to the Chief Executive, His Excellency the President, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, at the State House, past Friday, September 30, 2011.

The investigative teams were those of Civil Society and our Republic of Sierra Leone Police.

May JEHOVAH Bless the WILL that brought this about.

According to Peep's intensive investigations by our two Bo district Public Opinion Surveyors/Pollstars, both of whom, fortunately for Peep, were in Bo City on that rather unfortunate Friday afternoon of 9 September, 2011, were it not for the DIVINE GRACE OF JEHOVAH, that incident was going to EXPLODE this our beloved country - Sierra Leone, into yet another very dangerous and disastrous CIVIL/POLITICAL Conflict or War.

The Chief Executive, as head of the Executive arm of government under which purview the Sierra Leone Police find themselves, in his wisdom and thus very sober judgment, thought it meet and proper to advise that not only the Sierra Leone Police whose role it is to investigate such matters, but also, Civil Society too, had their own investigative team so as to have and get a very unbiased investigative report.

Government is designed to be a constructive mechanism to serve the guardian and welfare course of the nation State.

Hence, government exists for man/the people and not man/the people existing for government.

As a matter of law and fact, the aim of government should be to provide security and safty for the citizenry as well as an atmosphere of freedom for the development of their talents and abilities.

The Citizenry need absolute protection from all the arms of government - the Executive, Legislature, Judiciary and of course, the Fourth Estate, this is to say - the Media.

Like President Koroma in thanking the two investigative teams at the State House past Friday after they presented the reports of their findings vis-Ă -vis the Bo City May-hem of Friday, 9 September, 2011 said that the LAW SHALL/WILL take its course in respect of any culprit(s), which is the CALM and FIRM stance any sober headed national leader is indeed expected to take, it is now left with the LAW OFFICERS Department, under the Attorney General and Minister of Justice who advise the Police to prefer the appropriate charges against the suspects who are wanting to bring Civil/Political Conflict or War yet again to this country that had suffered 11 years of one of the World's most brutal and ruthless Civil/Rebel Wars in modern history.

May JEHOVAH forbid that happening again in Sierra Leone especially at a time like this when we as a nation are indeed enjoying relative PEACE and TRANQUILITY.

The President was absolutely in place or right to have said that those found WANTON shall be referred to the International Criminal Court - ICC.

The United Nations sent 20,000 troops to Sierra Leone to replace ECOMOG Forces solely, rescue this country from the late Corporal Foday Saybana Sankoh who sought power through the barrel of the gun and his mentor, or rebel Maestro - Charles Taylor, former president of the Republic of Liberia, now standing trial in the Hague ICC for crimes against humanity allegedly in complicity with his late apprentice - Corporal Foday Saybana Sankoh.

The 11 years Civil Conflict or War commenced on Sunday, 23 March, 1991 at Boamaru in Kailahun district and Potoru in Pujehun district, with the late President Joseph Saidu Momoh as President.

On Friday, January 18, 2002, with erstwhile president Dr. Ahmed Tejan Kabbah as head of State, the nation was told by president Kabbah that the War was over or had ended.

That was followed by the symbolic burning of weapons at Lungi that very date.

In the August 11, 2007 - September 8, 20007 Presidential and Parliamentary elections and subsequently the run-off or re-run presidential election and the announcement of the presidential election run-off on Monday, 17 September 2007, the Opposition APC party presidential flagbearer/candidate, the honourable Ernest Bai Koroma was declared the winner/victor by the then and current Chief Electoral Commissioner and Chairperson of NEC, Dr. Christiana Thorpe.

Unlike Kenya and Zimbabwe where the opposition defeated the governments in 2007/2008 but the governments refused to concede defeat the case of Sierra Leone was different.

The SLPP government conceded defeat at the polls and thus the APC party presidential flagbearer/candidate, the honourable Ernest Bai Koroma was that very day, Monday, 17 September, 2007, sworn in as president of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

We did not end up forming a government of National Unity as a result of electioneering skirmishes.

And now, certain ill-disposed political nincompoops or very stupid persons being manipulated by certain insidious/treacherous so-called politicians are daily and nightly plotting to plunge this our beloved country - Sierra Leone, into yet another very dangerous and disastrous Civil Conflict; all because of dirty and filthy politics.

The photograph shows the author of this piece upon release after 6 months in AFRC/RUF Rebels captivity on my arrival in Freetown, on Tuesday, 6 July, 1999. The Lome, Togo, Peace Accord was signed on Wednesday, 7 July , 1999.

I was released on Sunday, 4th July, 1999 after having walked or trekked from Freetown to Makeni.

Let me ask this question… Does any Sierra Leonean want to be and look like me in this photograph upon my release by the AFRC/RUF rebels on July, 1999.

I was captured in Freetown on Friday, January 15, 1999.
