41 Billion Leones For The Construction Of Lungi International Airport Print E-mail

The Sierra Leone Airport Authority on Tuesday 16th March 2010, signed a forty one billion Leones grant with the LAGAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY which is based in the United Kingdom for the construction of the Lungi International Airport. The grant which was provided by the World Bank was to ensure that the airport match up with other international airports in the world.

On Saturday 16th January at precisely 1:04pm, residents were woken to the screams of a man as he struggled with some twenty five other men who were apparently bent on taking his life.

Those were the days when, after civil servants would have defrauded the State, files pertaining to the matters would just mysteriously disappear.
