The Pharmacy Board is dragging it’s feet over quitting their offices (old Morgan Pharmacy) despite the Morgan family having issued them an eviction notice over a year ago.

The Institution appears in dire financial straits. NPA disconnected power supply to the offices recently after the Board failed to meet overdue bills of Le33 million.

Acting Registrar, Wiltshire Johnson refused to comment to our reporter Pastor Mohamed Sesay; but we have also learned that newly employed members of Pharmacy Board have not been paid for two months.

It is a mystery why Pharmacy Board finances have collapsed in the short time Wiltshire Johnson took over from Jack Lansana who was sent on leave by former Health Minister Dr. Soccoh-Kabia.

Recently Mr. Wiltshire almost faced sacking over the sum of Le17 million allocated, but never used for holding of a seminar. The money vanished in unusual circumstances.

At present Pharmacy Board does not appear to have money to rent a new set of offices. It is not known whether the Morgan family plan to take legal action to effect the eviction of Pharmacy Board.
