Contrary to widespread speculations that the new Sierra Leone Ports Authority General Manager, Captain Benjamin Davies, was not going to withdraw the bid he submitted over two months ago to the SLPA for the supply of navigation Aids, when he was not yet appointed to that position by president Ernest Bai Koroma, the Sea - Captain has confounded and proved his critics very wrong when he, of his own volition, withdrew his submitted bid for the supply of Navigation Aids to the Sierra Leone Ports Authority almost immediately he was appointed to the position of General Manager so as not to be found wanting of Conflict of Interest.
