The creepy village of Newton which is just four miles from Waterloo, and which is known for eerie happenings has lived to its reputation again.

On Saturday 16th January at precisely 1:04pm, residents were woken to the screams of a man as he struggled with some twenty five other men who were apparently bent on taking his life.

By the time some of them came out, the struggling man, Mohamed Jalloh, 20, an artist, was already a corpse.

According to residents, some 25 men who adorned themselves with white T-shirts and red mufflers and who called themselves 'Money Flash', were seen at around 7 p.m. on that day moving towards the Ahmadiyya Secondary School sitting at the junction.

"At around 9p.m on that day," an eyewitness, Isha Sesay told Peep "we heard noises coming from that area as the men were apparently engaging on a binge party".

The witness said that the caretaker later drove them away and as they were leaving, in their drunken stupor, swore to kill Mohamed.

"It was a very unfortunate affair for the poor man," she said "oblivious to the death threat hanging over his head, Mohamed walked towards the junction where he met his would-be assailants head on".

Isha said the men pounced on him immediately stabbing him over ten times.

"When they realized he was dead, they fled in all directions", Isha continues.

Money Flash members are said to have a score to settle with the deceased man when he refused to join the club.

Eight men are helping Waterloo Police Station in their investigations.
