INVESTIGATIONS conducted by Peep Newsmagazine over a period of six (6) months have indeed revealed that for a very long time ago, the National Tourist Board of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs,

has very much indeed, been a great obstacle, hindrance and impediment to the effectiveness and proper running and functioning of that immense and massive revenue generating Ministry, if the alleged CABAL or CLIQUE of a so-called National Tourist Board is not speedily DISSOLVED or DISMANTLED with immediate effect.

The alleged evil or dangerous influence in the National Tourist Board that spreads and affects the progressive functioning of our Tourism and Cultural Affairs Ministry; the CANKER-WORM, so to speak, is allegedly the so-called Manager of the National Tourist Board, Mr. Cecil Williams.

The National Tourist Board it is claimed is just there to eternally dictate to the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs.

From minister right down to whatever member of staff, in the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, the National Tourist Board in general and the so-called Manager of the Board, Mr. Cecil Williams, in particular, are reportedly treating Minister in and Minister out with absolute and utter contempt and disdain.

Instead of the Ministry being the BOSS and HEAD, it is the National Tourist Board that is the BOSS and HEAD of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs.

The National Tourist Board under the Managership of Mr. Cecil Williams is not at all generating any reasonable revenue or income for the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, and therefore, in sum total, is not generating revenue for government.

It is claimed that the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs is in Financial Dire Straits or in a very difficult financial situation, while it is again claimed that the Manager of the National Tourist Board is wallowing and basking in money.

The Lumley Beach in particular which is a darling to Tourists is littered with weeds. There is a machine/tractor with the necessary gadgetry parked at the Cape Sierra Hotel, which machine had started clearing the Lumley Beach of the stream sea Weeds but the National Tourist Board which has hijacked the role of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs has deliberately refused to pay for the rendered services of clearing the Lumley Beach by that tractor/machine, let alone purchase it in order to clean up Lumley Beach.

The huge sums of monies in dollars derived from the leasing of the entertainment facilities at the Lumley Beach as well as the hotels etc., etc., by the National Tourist Board under the managership of Mr. Cecil Williams are not seen to swell the coffers of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs.

Mr. Barbar Fortune, who is the incumbent Permanent Secretary, our investigations reveal to us, would be seen to be very prudent in his behaviour should he be seen to collaborate with the incumbent Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs; the honourable Victoria Saidu-Kamara in order to see the Ministry achieve its role and objective rather than allegedly colluding with the discredited current National Tourist Board with Mr. Cecil Williams as Manager.

Indeed! Peep Investigations have revealed that the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs can only prosper when the current called National Tourist Board is dissolved.
