The Inspector General of Police, Mr. Brima Acha Kamara, now behaves in a manner not quite expected of him.

It was rather interesting to note that quite recently, before he went on leave to London, what he did was to make Mr. Murray Lenghor take up his position as the acting Inspector General of Police.

In fact, he, (Mr. Acha Kamara) was at one time accusing Mr. Francis Munu that he wants to take up the position of Inspector General of Police; failing to realize that they are all northerners and more so, they are all members of the senior police hierarchy.

The same thing Mr. Brima Acha Kamara applied to Mr. Christopher John, also an Assistant Inspector General of Police, by then at Bombali District, in Makeni.

Mr. Brima Acha Kamara reportedly falsely accused Mr. Christopher John that he intends to take the Inspector General of Police from him, fully knowing this Mr. Christopher John himself tried tooth and nail to have himself transferred to the National Security Office, so that Mr. Acha Kamara's mind could be at liberty or at rest.

Now, the whole episode is taking a different dimension between the wives of Mr. Brima Acha Kamara and that of Mr. Francis Munu.

The senior Police Wives are now taking a different route. No sooner one sees you going to Mr. francis Munu's wife, you have been classed as Munu's supporter.

Equally so, no sooner a senior officer or junior officer goes to Mr. Acha Kamara's wife you have been branded as Acha's man or woman.

Recently, there was a scuffle between Mrs. Acha Kamara and Mrs. Francis Munu.

What Mrs. Acha Kamara did was to expel the cousin of Mrs. Munu at the Kingtom Police Barracks. And what Mrs. Munu did, was to find a place for her cousin out of the Kingtom Barracks.

In a meeting held by the Police Wives Association, with drinks like beer, stouts and soft drinks flowing, Mrs. Acha Kamara made a sarcastic remark saying that some people have not yet attained the position of Inspector General of Police but they and their wives were behaving in such a way.

The vote of thanks was given by Mrs. Lappia whose husband is also a high ranking officer at the Criminal Investigation Department headquarters at Pademba Road.

Not too later, the goat of Mrs. Lappia went to Mrs. Munu's place and spoil something there.

The goat was allegedly seized and beaten by Mrs. Munu's boys.
