There is no gainsaying the in controvertible fact that history is created by the things we leave behind.
There is therefore no doubt, that President Ernest Bai Koroma, is daily proving himself to be a worthy and deserving leader/statesman of Sierra Leone, not only of the APC party.
When President Bai Koroma, despite human feels, made the pronouncement some time ago that April 27, 2010,would benot only the date to commemorate and celebrate our Independence, Liberty,Freedom and March to Political Self Determination, but also he likewise was Statesmanly and humanistic enough to pledge/promise the nation State of Sierra Leone that from that date henceforth, his government was going to ensure that pregnant women, lactating mothers and under-five children receive FREE MEDICAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES in all the government Hospitals, and Health Care Centres nationwide.
What a Statesman who ought and needs to be profusely commended for his Statesman like handling of a national crisis, misery and woe that had in the past and continues to occasion and cause both maternal and infant or child mortality and morbidity.
This attitude and behaviour clearly underscores the fact that this States-man-like stance of Bai Koroma, having and showing the qualities and abilities of a Statesman, are nationally worthy of appreciation, and commendation.
It explains that he feels it is very embarrassing for Sierra Leone to be ever classified as a country with the highest Maternal and Infant Mortality Rate the world over.
His targetting the Health Sector is apparently to dramatically reduce this unfortunate Infant and Maternal Mortality.
Indeed, no President/Statesman and his government can bring about development in the nation state or country he is ruling if the population is afflicted by health problems.
He, the Chief Executive, is likewise aware that reasonable remuneration of medical doctors and health workers is what will see his statemanly idea fruitful and useful for this modern occasion.
The government's political will and rigid participation of Sierra Leone's partners are what will see this dream of the president come true.
President Ernest Bai Koroma must be persuaded to be very rigid, calm and firm, if he is to succeed in moving this corruption ridden county to glory.
The Chief Executive must likewise be reminded that all those who seek sweet things, including himself, must also be ever ready and prepared to endure bitterness.
Corruption in Sierra Leone is so much buttressed with Fascist and Unpatriotic Fingers that until and unless we as a country are seen through the no nonsense stance of our leaders, the fall of our dear mother and fatherland will be speedily catastrophic.
And so with this our dear country having been fleeced and exploited for over six decades by our own Sierra Leoneans so-called 'bad' brothers and sisters, and especially with the unpatriotic collaboration of those we expect to be very much concerned about our national forward movement; indeed, only goodness knows what next.
Anyhow and in anyway, we are satisfied that but for a few exceptional political/mistakes, President Ernest Bai Koroma for now, continues to win and enjoy this country's venerable love, admiration and respect yet again.
