It is now getting to three months since workers of the Guma Valley water Company  changed the corrosive water pipes that have been lying along Malamah Thomas Street with no connection been made to residents of that area.

Madam Seray Timbo who lives at 49 Malamah Thomas Street, expressed her dismay over the Company for not connecting water to their residential pipes.

"Since Guma Valley Water Company changed the length and breath of Guma they have absolutely failed to connect us" she remarked.

"So I am calling on them to provide water to our tap since water is life, we have to buy water at Le150,000 per week" she explained.

When I contacted Mr. Joseph Musa who is the Public Relations officer of Guma Valley Water Company, he said that they are trying very hard for residents of Malamah Thomas Street to get water.

He added that the problem now is they are expecting fittings from overseas which he said are expected by 17, March, 2010. He said that by next week they would completely finish with work at Malamah Thomas Street.
