Honourable P.C Sallu Lobo on Saturday 1st October, 2011, highlighted various developments that took place in his Chiefdom.

Speaking during an interview, the Paramount Chief pointed out the various development projects which have already been completed. He said since the starting of his term in office, 23 Schools, 2 Court barrays, 4 Health centres, some Roads have been and of course light has been constant.

He noted that his Chiefdom has less crime rates compared with other areas in the light of which he said security is well intact as the people work together with the police to ensure peace and commented on the fact that his community as a whole is cooperating with the ABC. Everyone contributes in diverse ways towards the development in the Chiefdom. He praised his people for their courage and understanding.

He throws light on the warm cordiality shared amongst each other. He touched on Agriculture and his plans to improve the output of farmers. On this line he said progress has been made to obtain the Micro Credit for farmers, with this he hope farmers will obtain the necessary resources and equipments they need to promote and improve on their farming.

He said he belongs to a committee which consists of various Honourables who meet once every month to review most of their various achievements and plans for the future. This he says helps a great deal as it brings about exchange of ideas which is used as a weapon to strengthen the weaker ones. He envisaged the Micro Credit to be a good initiative for the farmers as this is a necessary step his colleagues have implemented.
