Addressing the issue of ghost teachers in schools, the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Dr. Minkialu Bah sounding in last week's Thursday Government Press briefing attacked the Public Relations Officer of the Academic Staff Association of FBC, Mr. Joseph Ben Fobay as being one of the many ghost teachers that have been existing in government sponsored schools.

Mr. Bah with a document of attestation to the issue in question in his hands, was vexingly telling journalists that in his hunt to return all ghost teachers to the cemetery, has come to realize that the harmful and unpatriotic act has not only been done by some unscrupulous Sierra Leoneans, but with as inclusion of lecturers Mr. Fobay not being as exception. Dr. Bah said that it is unfortunate for Mr. Ben Fobay being the PRO of ASA, FBC but has nothing to show in their advocacy for an increament in their salaries. He said that Mr. Fobay has been a ghost teacher at Albert Academy where his name was changed from Joseph Ben Fobay to Joseph Ben Foday. He continued that Mr. Fobay is not the only teacher caught in this act. "There are so many of them I will expose later" he said Dr. Bah while promising he will hand Mr. Fobay to the Anti-Corruption Commission for judicious and sincere investigation of him, also stated that he has imperatively commanded the Principal of Albert Academy to sack and have the name of the said teachers erased off the list of teachers in his school. He ended with a promise to clean up the system in the educational sector in the country as that is the mandate given to him by the President.
